Active Release Techniques
Active Release Techniques (ART) are a soft tissue method that focuses on relieving tissue tension via the removal of fibrosis/adhesions which can develop in tissues as a result of overload due to repetitive use.
(ART). These techniques are among the most well-known, non-invasive therapies for muscles and soft tissue. ART-based therapies are typically utilized for treating conditions and injuries resulting from repetitive stress, pressure, or injuries associated with weak and/or tight muscles. These areas are at a higher risk for developing inflammation, abnormal functions, or scar tissue that can result in chronic pain and reduced quality of life.
