Trigger Point Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a procedure by which a Physical Therapist utilizes a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points and muscular, connective, and neural tissues.

The body responds to Dry Needling by releasing trigger points, promoting blood flow to injured tissues, interrupting pain signaling, and improving the efficiency of your body’s neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.

Physical Therapists are required to attain an advanced certification to perform Dry Needling and are credentialed through accredited organizations to safely and effectively do so.
